A little planning before delivery helps protect your property and gets the doors facing the direction you want.

We confirm the approach, unloading space and which direction the cargo doors should face.
We carefully unload the container at ground level in the approved placement area.

Site-readiness checklist
Walk the full route from the road to the placement area—not just the final spot. Pay special attention to turns, soft ground and overhead clearance.
Common access concerns
The truck and trailer need a workable path in, enough room to unload, and a safe path back out.
Narrow openings, sharp turns and steep roadside entrances can limit trailer access even when the placement area is open.
Power lines, communication lines, tree limbs and roof overhangs must remain clear of the container and raised trailer.
Heavy equipment can sink or lose traction on saturated soil. Weather may require rescheduling or an alternate placement plan.
A reasonably level working area helps keep the truck, trailer and container stable throughout unloading.
Keep the delivery route away from septic tanks, field lines and areas that may not support a loaded truck and trailer.
Tell us which direction the cargo doors should face. Trailer approach direction directly affects final orientation.
Placement surfaces
The best preparation depends on the soil, drainage and how long the container will remain in place.
A compacted, level gravel pad promotes drainage and provides a stable base. The four container corners should remain properly supported.
A suitable slab or paved area can provide excellent support when the delivery route and surface are rated for the truck and trailer.
Dry, compacted ground may work, but soil conditions change with weather. Soft soil, standing water and uneven grades need attention first.

Efficient multiple-container delivery
When both containers fit the order and our 40′ trailer can safely reach and unload at the property, we can often deliver two 20′ units in one trip.

Delivery questions
Delivery is free within the first 30 route miles from our Hico yard. Beyond that radius, delivery is $4.50 per additional one-way route mile, per delivery trip. Your final quote confirms the route and total.
There is no single clearance number for every delivery. Required space depends on container length, trailer configuration, terrain, turns and desired placement direction. Send photos or call us so we can review your specific site.
The customer should prepare a firm, reasonably level placement area. Discuss blocks or special placement needs with us before delivery so we can confirm what is practical for the site.
If the route or placement area is too soft for safe access, delivery may need to be rescheduled or moved to an alternate location. The driver makes the final safety decision at the property.
Often, yes. When both units can be safely transported and placed from one 40-foot trailer, one delivery charge can usually cover the trip. Final arrangements depend on access, placement and driver review.
